NYDAC is happy to welcome you on its website, mailing list, or at its events, but can offer you so much more as a member! Joining NYDAC provides you access to a variety of services and networking opportunities.  In addition, NYDAC membership dues provide graduating students in all options an invaluable introduction to New York City and our alumni network.

NYDAC Membership Networks You with Working Alumni:

•  2007/2008 saw an increase in the size of our Alumni Directory by 30%! Your membership purchases you the new, larger directory, providing contact information of theatre professionals who share your alma mater.

•  Carnegie Collaborative is expanding this season from four to six readings, one of which will increase scope to a staged reading – creating more and better opportunities for alums to develop new work.

•  Introducing Network Night!  NYDAC kicked off the 2008/2009 season with casting workshop with NYC’s top casting directors designed to help advance the careers of all our members.

NYDAC Membership Connects you to Old Friends:

• The Holiday Party offers the once-a-year chance to connect with over 50 years of alumni

• Introducing monthly Bar Nights – a low-key way to regularly connect with old friends and meet new ones! 

•  In addition, we continue to offer the annual favorites the Summer Picnic and Iceskating Party.

NYDAC Membership Helps Launch ALL Graduating Students into NYC:

• This year, NYDAC hosted the largest number of Actors/MTs, Directors, Playwrights, Designers, Dramaturgs, and PTM students ever!  They met with Broadway producers including Cheryl Weisenfeld (Spelling Bee, Legally Blonde) and directors including Leigh Silverman, toured theaters ranging from off-off to Broadway and shops like Mattera and Hudson Scenic.

• NYDAC made two trips to Pittsburgh, presenting three awards to stellar graduating students, helping to create a tribute video to Mladen Kiselov, and preparing the students for their upcoming trips to NYC.
  

None of these events are possible without your membership to the Alumni Clan.  NYDAC relies entirely on membership dues and tax-deductible contributions for all of its operating expenses.  We work hard to make sure your dues do the most good for the alumni community as is possible. We sincerely hope you’ll recognize how much more we can do for the community and you if you become a member today!  

How Do I Become A NYDAC member?

• Are you a member of the Class of 2008? Your first year is just $10!  All other memberships are only $25.

• Click here to securely submit your membership payment via credit card.
