2008 Holiday Party a Resounding Success
The 2008 Holiday Party was the biggest in recent NYDAC history, as more than 120 people came to the Alvin Ailey Studios to celebrate. It was a fitting end to a fantastic NYDAC year, and the board would like to thank everyone that attended.

CFA Names Theater Designer PETER COOKE Head of its School of Drama
PITTSBURGH—Carnegie Mellon University's College of Fine Arts has announced the appointment of Peter Cooke, a noted theater designer and educator, as the new head of its School of Drama.
Holiday Invitations GALORE!
Due to an error in merging of databases with alumni relations at Carnegie Mellon, many of you may have received duplicate holiday party invitations. Please rest assured that NYDAC only has one entry for each person in our database. You will only appear in the directory once and future mailings from NYDAC should not show up in duplicate. Also, for those of you who opted out of being contacted by the University, please know that your address was given to them for the purposes of this mailing only and you will not be added to their database.
