Production Manager for FUBAR
We are looking for a highly responsive and "get it done" driven person to work as production manager on our upcoming production of FUBAR, by Karl Gajdusek. Not only are we looking for someone for this job, but also establishing a longer term relationship if there is interest on both sides.
FUBAR, by Karl Gajdusek:
Four people try to recognize the people they’ve become in a world that is totally FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition).
Mary and David live in a small apartment crammed full of the boxes her abused mother left behind, while outside in the streets of San Francisco people self-actualize like crazy. When Mary herself is the victim of a random act of violence, their protected world is ripped open. Meanwhile, Richard is a benevolent drug dealer writing a book while Sylvia uses the Internet to lead a double hyper-sexualized existence. FUBAR is an exploration of the ripple effect of a random act of violence that lies just under the surface of our everyday lives.
Rehearsals begin May 14th.
Show opens June 11th at the 59E59th Street Theatre's as a centerpiece of their American New Play Festival.
Directed by Larissa Kokernot.
Design team of Costume, Set, Lights, and Sound is set.
Please contact Andrew at Andrew@projectytheatre.org or call 202-257-4049 (cell) if interested, or if you have any questions. For the Production Management position, there is pay incorporated into our budget.
