DRAMA QUEERS! named "Best Gay Romance" by Lambda Lit

Frank Anthony Polito (MFA Dramatic Writing '06), recently received the Lambda Literary Award for “Best Gay Romance” of 2009 for his second novel, DRAMA QUEERS!   

The Lambda Literary Awards (also known as the "Lammys") are awarded yearly by the Lambda Literary Foundation to published works which celebrate or explore LGBT themes.  

DRAMA QUEERS! is the follow up to Polito’s critically acclaimed debut, BAND FAGS!, and tells the story of 17-year-old Brad Dayton as he comes of age in 1980s Ferndale and Hazel Park.  More info can be found at www.dramaqueers.net
