IN TRANSIT at Primary Stages, with 3 CMU Alumni!

IN TRANSIT, a new musical running this Fall at Primary Stages, will feature prominent work by THREE School of Drama alumni: Jennier Caprio (costumes), Russ Kaplan (composer), and Tommar Wilson (cast).

The production will run from September 21 to October 30, at 59 E 59 Theatres.

The show follows seven performers taking on multiple roles - and creating every note with their own voices - to portray a vivid tapestry of characters finding their way in New York City...an aspiring actress, a fledgling financier, a street-savvy beatboxer, a cab driver, and many others.  Inspired by the rhythms and sounds of life on the subway, IN TRANSIT is a fresh take on the modern musical that's unlike anything you've heard Off-Broadway.

IN TRANSIT was written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, James-Allen Ford, Russ Kaplan, and Sara Wordsworth, and will be directed by Joe Calarco.  The cast includes Steve French, Celisse Henderson, Hannah Laird, Chesney Snow, Graham Stevens, Denise Summerford, and Tommar Wilson.
