Ken Kaissar Produces His Own Show
For those of you who don't know me, I graduated as a director from CMU in 2000. Since then, I received my MFA in playwriting from Columbia University and live in the greater Philadelphia area with my wife, Amy (Singer) Kaissar, also a CMU director, who now runs the Bristol Riverside Theatre in PA.
I have an opportunity to prodce my newest play THE MAN STANLEY at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philly this summer. To that end, I need your help.
I have launched a fundraising campaign called the Ultimate iPad Raffle and on April 12th, I am giving away a free iPad 2 to a lucky raffle ticket holder.
Here's how it works: Visit www.twoguysmakingtheatre.com. Buy a $20 raffle ticket which enters you into two raffle drawings. One on April 12th for an iPad, and one on May 26th for an Apple Ipod Nano. And in addition, each raffle ticket you buy entitles you to one free ticket to see the play. If you're in Philly, you can come see the show. If you're not, you can treat someone you know to a free show in Philly. And if you know no one in Philly, then you have the knowledge that you're supporting the production of a new play, and helping to create work for fellow theatre artists, with a chance to win an iPad.
A $20 puchase will do more than you know, so please visit www.twoguysmakingtheatre.com and help us make our show happen!!!
I appreciate your support and your friendship! And I hope you are finding artistic satisfaction and excitement in your career.
Sincerely yours,
Ken Kaissar
